I can never stop thinking
About Science and Math and the whole universe
It's completely a blessing, definitely not a curse
But the entire world seems to think it's the worse
"Turn off your brain"
"Go back to sleep!"
"Watch more pop culture"
"Do it you sheep"
It's so easy for people to fall off the train
While TMZ and Extra eat out your brain
Like a tumor, not an arachnoid cyst
If it ended tomorrow, it wouldn't be missed
So while the world watches TV into the night
I'll be at my computer keeping on the lights
And hoping that someday we can end the fight
And keep all our brain running into the night

I'm up late way too much. I guess with all the other things that are on in the house and the light in the neighbor's house keeping me awake some nights, it's hard to fall a sleep.
I like to work during the day. Get up and work and do stuff that I like even if I have no job, just keep myself occupied. No time for any of that gossipy crap which I've had just about enough seeing sneek it's way into the morning and evening news. It's even getting into the radio. That or a far right message. If it is a FOX TV or Radio station, it is probably both.
Anyway, I'm tired of being entertained when I want to be informed. Owning a police scanner is starting to look so much better when reporters waist time they could be spending reporting local news on telling us about American Idol crap.
