Vote for someone sane
Not insane in the membrane
Not some clown with money and/or fame

So you got all your candidates.
From Ron Paul to Perry.
Bachman to Palin.
All of them Failin'
On the Fixed Noise they wailin'
About all the things,
They could have done
But I doubt they would have read the FBI faxes back in 2001

From guntotin' grannies
To getting migranies because of the knot in their panties

It's funny how we continue to let the media
Spin their insanity
From the bad ideas for important issues
To spazzing out over stem cell tissues
So that they can be hired for power that they misuse

Why pick any of them?
I don't care if one of them may look hot.
I'd rather have four more years with the guy that we got.

Our problem isn't Obama,
It's all this manufactured drama.
Like Johnny Mac wanting to fund guns for Gadafi?
WHAT ARE YOU NUTS?!
Are you that old and senile
That you would support a dictatorship.
I just hope your daughter is pissed off about that shit.

So I am a democrat.  Huffpo and Maddow, whispering in the shadow
It doesn't mean I can't think. Or know the difference
between open democracy and plutocratic resistance.

It's time to wake up!
Where are the riots? Where are the fires?
Where are the old people who wanted to retire?
There still down at Arby's the new place they call work
Because their previous employer was a greedy jerk.

You got tea party madness speading like a virus
Causing another national crisis.
Cantor cuts the government, wants to go private
Yeah. Good luck with that, bud.
Such a great job subpair subcontractors do in the neighborhood.
Folks getting sued. Outside of the camera's peripheral view.
You waiting for a check? Did we cut out the stimulus yet?

To hell with the corporations.
They bringing down this nation
And the ones across the gulf stream.
They giving us nightmares calling them American dreams.

The world is on fire, and starting to drown.
The ground starts the shake the entire town.
Nothing seems to work. Not even my insurance.
It's time we make like Lybian rebels and start an insurgence!

Vote Democratic. It's easier than getting a job.

In case your local news outlet downplayed it today, Wikileaks released a new batch of cables today. One of the spiciest pieces of information that we probably should have known from the very beginning was that some members of the Republican party, including John McCain, had considered giving guns to Mommar Ghadafi to defend his dictatorship.

It was alos reviled by the rebels how disturbed Ghadafi was, from possibly giving guns to terrorist groups like Al Qaeda during the past decade, to two albums full of photos and love notes of former George W. Bush National Security adviser/Secretary of state Condoleeza Rice.

As if that weren't enough Michelle Bachmann, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin, and Ron Paul are all certifiably INSANE!

Michelle Bachman wants to be president, but here knowledge of American history (or who lives in her town for that matter) is terrible. If that weren't enough, the last thing we need when the country is in national crisis is for someone with Migraines taking a month off. The last guy we let do that had an evil #2 running the show. Save a tree, burn a Bush! Watch out of flakes!

Rick Perry's job as Texas Governor has lead to poor environmental standards in Texas, bad educational test scores (I can't imagine it wouldn't have anything to do with the text books full of inconsitent facts and bible lessons). The only reason he is ahead in the polls is because Stephen Colbert's clever plan to muck up straw-poll votes by mispelling Perry's name seems to have backfired. On top of that, what conservative state that legalized gay marrage (I'm speaking of Iowa) wants to vote for a guy so far in the stone age with his domestic policies? It's like the want DOMA and DADT to stay.

Mitt Romney seemed to be like an OK guy, until all the things he supported 10 years ago became things he now despites. You can't seem to get him an a Yacht or a Lexus to be separate from one another. That and Corporations are People. His best friends are corporations...they give him the money and he does what they want. He's like a rich Milhouse.

Sarah Palin does have a chance. She may as well do the world a favor and get into a bare knuckle boxing match with an untamed Polar Bear. Less of a Party Leader now more of a Party Crasher.

What can I possibly say about Ron Paul that he hasn't said to screw himself up. THIS!. Also, consider Eric Cantor, Bill McDonnell, and Rick Santorum's dreams of being VP or President shot. Eric Cantor may as well crawl into a corner and die. It probably wasn't a good idea for him to cut funding for the United States Geological Survey, the National Weather Service, or Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), especially with the earthquake and the hurricane this week. If brain sucking aliens show up by the end of the year, you can blame Eric Cantor...and Kodos.

I'm still on board for four more years of Obama. Mabye four years of Joe Biden. At least until Meghan McCain turns 35. Perhaps she won't turn into the crazy luddites the current generation of Republicans have become.

Your last line is solid gold. I hope the Democrat party makes that their new party logo, because it encapsulates what they stand for so well.
