Last month I had brought up the problem that NFTs have for folks who have been on sites like DeviantArt for years who made digital art online either casually or professionally. It appears that DeviantArt doing something about it. According to the article on NBC News, DA says that they have been constantly scanning blockchains used by NFTs and since September have sent out messages to creators that their work may have been taken for profit on sites like OpenSea. Honestly, I have no interest in NFTs or the Metaverse. Crypto is definitely a thing, but I'm not going to bore anyone about it. But the idea that we're all going to move into a virtual place and buy virtual items and be friends with people who will virtually not be online or whose time online will be spent spreading conspiracies that you're not interested in. We should not be investing in a world that does not exists when the one we live in needs immediate repair. The environment is in trouble. We have people who won't

Yikes! It's been seven years since I posted something! At any rate, I thought I'd stop by here and make sure than if I find out you've been stealing any of my content on this Deviant Art Profile or any other website that I run to sell it at Non Fungible Tokens (or NFTs), I will see to it that I harvest your organs. No really, I will. There's been a lot of talk about NFTs which is basically a piece of data that is being sold at a crazy markup. As much as I find Beeple's work to be culturally significant for our time, and recognize him as a fellow millennial artists, I am not him, and honestly I don't really want to be him. NFTs are volatile commodities, like cryptocurrency. As popular as they are (which I'll admit, I've dabbled a little bit into it, but not enough to be obnoxious about it), these items have ephemeral value. That is, they could be worthless tomorrow. It's also why I'm not into buying crap for any "metaverse". You're going to pay $2000 for "digital sneakers" for

It's been seven years since I drew my popular drawing of Killgore from My Life as a Teenage Robot.  The show has since been canceled, and I've moved on to other things. But to see this image  appear in a Vine tweeted by the voice actress who gave this little robot a voice is such a honor even though I drew it seven years ago and didn't really submit this to Tara Strong to begin with.  Yes, that Tara Strong. While I'm not down with the whole "Bronies" thing that's been circulating about the Internet for the past few years, I've been a huge Paul Dini and Bruce Timm fan.  Here's a pic she posted of herself from way back when .  Wasn't she a hot
