Did you know that 3/4 of the national budget in the United States is spent on spending on the Department of Defense?
But G.I. Joe and G.I. Jane will only see a small fraction of one cent of that?
Yeah, we have money, to buy Kevlar, and bullets, and high tech equipment.
But the four branches of military can't afford any of it.

If you want to see how much money is spent on our troop, look at how much money is spent on our veterans.
The Department of Veterans Affairs is the true measure of the money that is spent on our troops who are in combat.

DuPont would sell Kevlar if the government gave them a kick back.
As would Halburton for services and distribution of food.
The Rand Corporation for information.
But Uncle Sam must pay extra to sweeten their mood.

All of this money was given away.  A blank check that all us taxpayers must pay.
To increase the cost, there was a kick back for the boss.
The commander-in-chief all of his friends,
Milk up dry every time that we drive
And increase the the cost of our rent

But who should be angry and red in the face
Should be the solders we sent.
While they're far away, the money we paid to make sure he has food and some shelter
Doesn't reach him except for the care packages that are sent, to forget the day's helter-skelter.

But all the love notes and cookies won't armor the hearts of those brave fine young men
Thanks to the fighting within our own government.
A new direction one claims, stay the course says the other.
Who cares about the middle or indepenent.
You must choose a side, it doesn't matter which
Because there are not enough votes to override the president.
The only pork that is attached to this bill is our vendetta and vice
And a bridge to no where but hell.

I call upon the men and women who wear the uniform to end the war themselves
Not from PC orders by senators, congressmen, or presidents.
If they have the answers, tell them to come on over
Here, use this old car door for armor.
There's pleanty of food at the store down the street
If you can make it without getting shot.

The government is wasting our time and our troops time.
I support our troops but not our government.
Not this government anymore.
The nation that once stood for freedom and for good
Fights with each other while we foot the bill.

Our time, money, and emotions are stollen by men,
Who have never held guns in a foreign land.
But they know about victory from their excused tours to Vietnam.
But they know about suffering from the comfort of Camp David.
But they know about other cultures from the illegal aliens that they hire.
Man I wish they were more stupid.
Or atleast better than the know-it-alls that our voting has hired.
